A Sketch of the Ministry

Our Worship and Creative Arts Ministry seeks to enhance spiritual development through worship and the creative arts. We take an active leadership role each week in worship celebrations to help draw the congregation toward Christ. Our special events are designed to present the Gospel in a meaningful way that will touch the hearts of those attending and will inspire the congregation to invite others to participate. We strive to build a community of believers for all ages that supports, encourages, and ministers to one another.

Ministry Opportunities

Celebration Choir - our adults lead worship and special music weekly on Sunday mornings and occasionally on Wednesday nights during worship. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:15 p.m. No audition required.

Praise Team – vocalists who provide focused vocal leadership in Calvary’s Sunday morning worship service.

Audio/Visual Ministry – a ministry team that provides technical support for Calvary’s ministries, including Sunday AM worship services, Wednesday night Six:25, as well as other events. Volunteers operate the sound system, lighting, as well as video and computer components.

Technology Team – a ministry team that provides support in the area of information systems.

Worship in Motion – a team of young women that adds dance and creative movement to periodic worship services.

Praise Band – an auditioned group of instrumentalists that lead worship for Calvary’s worship celebrations.
